The KTM / Husqvarna Quickshifter+ (Easy Shift) system for the 701 Supermoto and 701 Enduro (2026–2027) is an OEM electronic shift-assist technology that enables clutchless upshifts and seamless downshifts for smoother, faster gear changes across all riding conditions.
Integrated into the motorcycle’s ride-by-wire ECU and gearbox sensors, the system detects gear lever input and momentarily adjusts engine torque to unload the transmission. This allows the next gear to engage instantly without requiring clutch operation.
During upshifts, ignition and fuel delivery are briefly reduced to enable fast, clean gear engagement. During downshifts, the system automatically matches engine revs (auto-blip function), creating smoother transitions and improved chassis stability under braking.
On the latest 701 platform, Quickshifter+ is designed to work under both relaxed street riding and aggressive performance use, delivering consistent shifting even under load. It enhances acceleration, reduces rider fatigue, and improves traction by maintaining smoother drivetrain behavior throughout the rev range.
