The KTM / Husqvarna Easy Shift system for the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 801 (2025) is an OEM electronic quickshifter and auto-blip technology designed to deliver smooth, clutchless gear changes in both directions.
Integrated into the motorcycle’s Bosch EMS ride-by-wire system, Easy Shift detects movement at the gear lever and momentarily adjusts engine power to allow seamless shifting without using the clutch during riding.
During upshifts, the system briefly reduces torque to unload the gearbox for fast, clean gear engagement. During downshifts, it automatically matches engine revs to maintain stability and prevent drivetrain shock. This creates a smoother, more controlled riding experience in both relaxed and aggressive riding conditions.
On the 2025 801 platform, Easy Shift comes factory-integrated and works across the full usable RPM range under normal riding conditions, enhancing both everyday usability and spirited performance riding.
