To keep the debris from destroying your rear brake disc BPD constructed their Sharkfin of 3/8 thick billet 6061 aluminum, which offers superior protection with minimal weight gain.
BPD incorporates the brake caliper carrier as part of their design. The axle passes through the disc guard making it virtually indestructible.
